Our dates are set so get ready for a weekend of fun at the 2026 Jacaranda Festival in Herberton!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, 17th October, 2026! We are closing our main street, Grace Street and inviting you to celebrate with us at the Jacaranda Festival Family Fun Day!
Live Music, Entertainment, Food Vans, Competitions, there’s something for everyone at the Jacaranda Festival Herberton! Our festival is bursting with loads of fun for the whole family!
See our beautiful Jacaranda Tree lined streets, take a ride on the Peckett Steam Train, explore the Tin Town Markets, wander through the Herberton Mining Centre discovering our past and soak up the vibrant community atmosphere!
On Saturday, our Family Fun Day kicks off at 10 am and wraps up at 3 pm. (Grace Street is closed for this event)
If your spending the weekend in Herberton, make sure you head to the Herberton Historic Railway Station on Sunday as they will be celebrating too!

Vendor Guidelines
To ensure the Jacaranda Festival Herberton is a safe and fun event for everyone, there has to be rules!
We ask that all Vendors please read the Vendor Guidelines.

Get Involved – Jacaranda Festival Herberton 2026
Great events like the Jacaranda Festival Herberton only happen due to an amazing amount of effort by a lot of people!
Would you like to get involved and volunteer your time or your skills?
Here are ways you can:
- Traffic Controllers – We are looking for qualified Traffic Controllers to assist on Saturday 17th October, 2026;
- Bus Driver – LR License minimum is required to drive our Jacaranda Bus from 10am to 3pm
- Volunteers – General helpers are needed to put up signs & decorations;
- Volunteers – Help to move lightweight items around from 8am on Sat 17th October, 2026;
- Volunteers – Help to move heavier items around from 8am on Sat 17th October, 2026
