Christmas Dinner with Rainforest to Bush

Herberton Trash, Treasure & Collectables Fair
You know what they say… “One mans trash is another mans treasure” Well come and find your treasure! Household goods, plants, books, toys, games, collectables, pre-loved clothing, vintage & recycled, antiques & art.
Its going to be a fun morning full of bargains galore and as it is an undercover event being held in the Herberton Hall, the fair will proceed rain, hail or shine! This is a fundraising event for the 2025 Jacaranda Festival Herberton.

Atherton Herberton Historic Railway
Peckett Steam Train Rides – Welcome to our fully restored 1905 Peckett Steam Locomotive along with its also fully restored 1913 wooden passenger carriage, running from Herberton Station to the Historic Village Herberton on selected weekends.
The Railway is a not for profit organisation formed , run and managed by a group of passionate volunteers who are dedicated to bringing our 113 year old railway history to life for the benefit of the Tableland community and visitors.

Pioneer Weekend
Olden day Australia comes alive as our pioneers climb out of the history books at the Historic Village Herberton for one weekend a year. See experts in their field demonstrate blacksmithing, wood chopping, tin panning, small engines, and more. With lots of fun entertainment for the children, great local entertainment, and train rides for the family, there is so much to see and do over the two-day event. Don’t forget to dress up with Fashions on the Field prizes for the best-dressed kids and adults.

Jacaranda Festival Herberton
A family fun weekend (Saturday is the main day with Grace Street closed) showcasing the historic mining town of Herberton. Family fun activities, local entertainment and community groups, markets & food stalls, vintage displays, Railway and Mining Museums and steam train rides.
